Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
CARETTA regards equal, respectful access to this website as part of the service. We have worked to make the site usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Conformance level
This website has been built and reviewed against Israeli Standard IS 5568 (Part 1) at conformance Level AA, corresponding to the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines at Level AA — the level required under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773–2013. Where practical we have also followed WCAG 2.1 AA (mobile, touch and reflow), exceeding the legal minimum.
Adjustments made on this site
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Full keyboard operability, including the interactive selectors, with a visible keyboard-focus indicator.
- Colour contrast meeting Level AA; content that does not rely on colour alone.
- Labelled form fields and accessible, announced error messages on the enquiry form.
- Text resizing and zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Correct heading structure, reading order, and per-page language and right-to-left (RTL) layout for the Hebrew pages.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting, and a control to pause background video.
- A “skip to content” link and consistent, descriptive navigation.
Tested with
Reviewed in July 2026 with automated and manual checks: colour-contrast measurement of every palette pair against the WCAG AA ratios; a crawl of all 118 pages verifying image text alternatives, form labelling, per-page language and direction, heading structure and bypass links; and code review of keyboard focus visibility and reduced-motion support. Reviewed in a current Chromium-based browser at desktop and mobile widths. This review was carried out in-house and is not a certified accessibility survey.

Showroom accessibility — Marconi 10, Haifa
Beyond this website, we publish here the accessibility arrangements at the physical place where the service is given — the Tapis showroom at Marconi 10, Haifa. The building is owned and managed by Dorsal, a public company, and meets the accessibility standards. The store itself meets them as well.
- Accessible parking — available and marked.
- Accessible entrance — entry is directly from the street, step-free, and wheelchair accessible.
- Accessible toilet — available.
- Lift — available in the building. The Tapis service is given at entrance level, so reaching us does not require it.
Auxiliary aids and services on request: if you need an adjustment in order to receive the service — someone to accompany you in the showroom, information in another form, or a visit arranged in advance — contact us using the details below and we will arrange it. You can reach us by phone, by email, or through the contact form on this site.
